How to Emboss Vellum with the Fun Patterns Embossing Folder

Hello and welcome to my blog! Today I want to share a pretty card with you where I embossed on vellum. Sadly, Stampin' Up no longer carries vellum, so when you go looking for some, make sure you get the one that is cardstock and not paper. It really makes a lot of difference the thicker it is.

I am going to share some pictures of the card, then provide a link to a free download and also a video demonstrating the construction of this card.

Lemon Lolly cardstock was used or the card base. In this picture it looks brighter than Lemon Lolly, but Lemon Lolly is a very soft yellow.

A die from the Nested Essentials Dies was used for the sentiment. The sentiment, that was stamped in Basic Gray, is an Online Exclusive called Sweetly Scripted. I really like this stamp set!

I use the dies from the Simply Zinnia Dies to make my flower.

Here's a closeup of the pattern the Fun Patterns Embossing Folder makes on the vellum.
