About Me

Welcome to my blogsite! I’m a retired school teacher and an US Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator for 10 years, who has found that Stampin’ Up! has been the perfect fit for me in retirement. It keeps me busy and socially active along with time to visit my son, daughter-in-law, and grandsons.

The first Stampin' Up! event I attended was at my home, but I wasn't even the hostess! Some friends of mine wanted to hold a party, but I didn't want any part of it. They did talk me into letting them use my home, as I had a wonderful back porch that was perfect for this type of event. To make a long story short, when I saw gold embossing powder melting into those beautiful images, I was sold! I began attending classes and workshops, and even joined a club. The demonstrator tried for years to talk me into joining Stampin' Up!, but I wasn't interested at the time. Finally, when I was getting close to retirement, I decided now was the time, and I haven't regretted it one single day!

My card classes are not about showing you what I can do, but showing you what YOU can do in simple, step-by-step instructions. My 40 years as an Exceptional Student Education teacher has equipped me with the skills of patience and the ability to break card instructions down to small, doable steps. The last thing I want is an overwhelmed customer! My wish is for you to find the card making experience enjoyable and relaxing. Come over to Quincy, Florida, just 30 minutes from Tallahassee, and see what I’m talking about!
