Card #3 Saran Wrap Stamping Technique Featuring Earthen Textures Stamp Set and Dies

Hello and welcome to my blog! This is Card #3 in a three-card series featuring stamping with Saran Wrap (plastic wrap). You're going to love this technique! You can download a free tutorial and I also have a YouTube video with all the instructions.

My card base is an 11" x 4 1/4" piece of Pecan Pie cardstock folded in half. 

A 5 1/4" x 4" piece of Azure Afternoon was embossed with the Cane Weave Embossing Folder and adhered to the card front, then two 4" x 1/2" strips of Pecan Pie were adhered across the bottom.

Let's learn the plastic wrap stamping technique. Get a small piece of plastic wrap and wad it up. Pounce it on your ink pad. In this case we're starting with Azure Afternoon. Next, stamp it on your cardstock.

I added Daffodil Delight below the Azure Afternoon.

Lastly, came Pecan Pie ink. I love the way this turned out!

Some foliage from the Earthen Textures stamp set were added with Cherry Cobbler ink in the area above where I will be placing my vase.

Here is the finished product! Don't you just love it!

Saran Wrap Stamping Technique Thank You Card for Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Highlights Winners Hop

Hello and welcome to Kylie Bertucci's International Winners Blog Hop! Today I'm joining Kylie Bertucci and a group of very talented demonstrators for a blog hop around the world. I'm so excited to be participating in the Top Ten International Highlights Winners Blog Hop! The card I'm sharing today featuring the Seasonal Branches Bundle and the Saran Wrap stamping technique. I have provided a free tutorial download with all the measurements and an instructional video for you at the end of this post.

The Saran Wrap stamping technique involves just wadding up a piece of Saran Wrap (clear plastic wrap), pouncing it on your ink pad, then pouncing it on your card stock. In the picture below I have applied Lemon Lolly all over the Basic White piece and Flirty Flamingo to the bottom part. You can also see the lovely branch from the Seasonal Branches Bundle. The background is embossed with the online exclusive Basic 3D embossing folder called Crosshatch.

On the inside, I included the part left from cutting out the Berry Burst piece with the Countryside Corners die. I also applied Lemon Lolly and Flirty Flamingo ink with the plastic wrap.

The Lemon Lolly background piece was embossed with the Leaf Fall embossing folder. I love embossing folders!
