Flowering Fields Tulips Card for Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Highlights Winner Hop

Hello and welcome to Kylie Bertucci's International Winners Blog Hop! Today I'm joining Kylie Bertucci and a group of very talented demonstrators for a blog hop around the world. I'm so excited to be participating in the Top Ten International Highlights Winners Blog Hop! I earned this honor with my card, Easter Friends. Thank you so much for voting for me.

The card I'm sharing with you today is a fun-fold card using the Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper and the Tulips Dies. I'll go over some of the highlights, but you can download a free tutorial by clicking on the box at the end of my post.
This card folds in 1 7/8" at the top and bottom. The Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper is the highlight of this card along with the darling tulips. The tulips were cut from Poppy Parade cardstock and the green grid paper under them is also from the Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper.

I didn't like the blank space on the left of the tulips, so I added the awesome Brushed Brass Butterflies.

On the inside I cut a row of Poppy Parade tulips from the Tulips Dies and adhered to the bottom

To download a free tutorial, click on the box below.
I hope you like my card and will give it a try. Links to the supplies I used are at the bottom of my post.

Now, please take a minute and visit the blogs of other Top Ten Winners. You won't be disappointed!

Flowering Rain Boots Swing Card for the Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop

Hello and Welcome to our Stampin INKspirations Blog Hop. Today we are sharing fun-fold cards with you. I can't wait to see what the other talented demonstrators have come up with.

My fun-fold card I'm sharing with you today is a swing-open card. The fun Flowering Rain Boots Bundle is the focal point of this card. I'm going to show you pictures of all the parts of this card, but instead of giving cutting instructions, you will be able to download a free tutorial at the end of the post.

This first picture is the card opened up. I featured the watering card on the inside panel.

This is the inside sentiment and where you would sign your card.

This is the inside left area.

The front panel features the rain boots and tulips.

Your 11" x 4 1/4" card base is scored at 5 1/2" and 2 3/4". To cut the card front so it swings out, you place your die on the front center, then place your cutting plate so it is even with the front center (you will have a score line here). When you begin to cut, the die will only cut up  to where plate is, therefore only cutting half the die.

The picture below shows the cut area and how it swings open.

To download my free tutorial, please click on the box below. Links to the products used to make this card are below.

Now please take a minute and hop on over to the other demonstrators' blog and check out their fabulous projects.

Take Your Pick Tool for Technique Tuesday

Hello and welcome to Technique Tuesday! Today we're sharing tips on how to use the Stampin' Up! Take Your Pick Tool. This is a great little tool that has multiple uses.

My tip is using it to position a stamped image in a punch when your paper is so small, you don't have anywhere to hold it to move it around in the punch. This example is the daisy stamp and punch.

Put your paper in the punch, use the sticky end of the Take Your Pick Tool to line it up, and punch!

When you punch enough daisies, you can make a beautiful arrangement like the one below.

I hope our hop convinces you that this tool is something you need. Please take a minute and check out all the other tips from this talented group of demonstrators.
