Painted Posies Embossing Folder Card for Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Highlights Winner Hop

Hello and welcome to Kylie Bertucci's International Winners Blog Hop! Today I'm joining Kylie Bertucci and a group of very talented demonstrators for a blog hop around the world. I'm so excited to be participating in the Top Ten International Highlights Winners Blog Hop! I earned this honor with my card, Wisteria Wishes. Thank you so much for voting for me.

I love embossing folders, and the Painted Posies Embossing Folder is the highlight of the card I'm sharing with you today. I chose to go with a Basic Black and Basic White theme with a touch of Real Red.
The floral images from Honeybee Home were stamped on a piece of 4" x 5 1/4" Basic White cardstock in Tuxedo Black Memento ink. I colored the flowers with the Light Real Red Blend, then embossed this piece with the Painted Posies Embossing Folder.
The twine is from the Baker's Twine Essentials Pack, but I decided I wanted some red twine to add to the black twine, so I used the Dark Real Red Blend to color the white twine. After the twine was adhered to the Basic White piece, I adhered this piece to my 11" x 4 1/4" Basic Black card base.
The sentiment is from the fabulous Charming Sentiments stamp set, which has a coordinating die set. I punched a Basic Black oval with the Double Oval punch and adhered it behind the sentiment so it would pop on the Basic White.

I hope you like my card and will give it a try. Links to the supplies I used are at the bottom of my post.

Father's Day or Masculine Themed In-Person Card Classes

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I'm introducing my upcoming in-person, Father's Day or Masculine Themed Card Classes. These classes will be held in my home and the cost is $20 or free with a $35 order.  You will make 3 cards, one of which is a light-up card! All you need to bring are your scissors and your favorite adhesives. The schedule is as follows:
Thursday, June 2nd at 5:00   4 openings
Sunday, June 5th at 2:00   4 openings

Now let's take a look at the cards. I'm sure you would like to see the light-up card first. I used the new Lighthouse Dies and Lighthouse Point stamp set to make this card.

The next card was made with the Vintage Tools stamp set and the new Split Card Textures dies.

Lastly, the third card centers around a garden theme and resembles a tool shed that holds all the yard tools.

Let me know which day you would like to attend.

Thanks for visiting my blog!

Wild and Sweet for the Stamping with Friends New Annual Catalog Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping with Friends New Catalog Blog Hop!

This card I'm sharing is one that my customers will make at my in-person classes the end of June, so they are getting an early look. The Wild and Sweet stamp set is a beautiful and realistic-looking animal stamp set. I chose the panda for this card.
The designer series paper is from the He's the Man package and is used with Early Espresso for the base. The panda was stamped in Early Espresso on Sahara Sand cardstock. Both rectangles were cut with the Stitched Rectangle Dies.

The Light Mossy Meadow, Gray Granite, and Crumb Cake Blends were used to color the panda image. 3 of the Rustic Metallic dots were added at the bottom.
The sentiment is from Charming Sentiments and was cut out with the coordinating die from Sentiment Silhouettes.
I hope you like my card and will CASE it. The supplies are listed below with links to my store.

Please take a minute to check out all the great projects from the other demonstrators participating in this hop.

Wisteria Wishes for Kylie Bertucci's Monthly International Blog Highlights

Hello and welcome to my blog. I've made this beautiful Thank You card for Kylie's International Blog Highlights. This means I'm asking you to vote for me so I can participate in her Top 10 Blog Hop! CLICK HERE TO VOTE! Look for entry #12. Just click on the heart in the upper right-hand corner. It will turn red when you have voted.

I fell in love with Wisteria Wishes as soon as I saw it in the new Annual Catalog! I've always loved seeing wisteria bushes growing in yards. This card would be a great card to thank someone with. I'm going to give some general instructions, but a complete tutorial is available for download at the bottom of this post.

The card I'm sharing with you today is a fun-fold card using the Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper and the Wisteria Dies.

This card folds in 1 7/8" at the top and bottom. The Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper, this beautiful Highland Heather design, was adhered to the top and bottom flaps. The wisteria was cut with the Wisteria Dies from Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather cardstock. The die with the leaves was cut out of Garden Green cardstock. The beautiful Pastel Pearls were adhered in the opening between the top and bottom flaps.

The Basic White piece behind the wisteria was embossed with the Brick and Mortar Embossing Folder and lightly brushed with Smoky Slate ink. The sentiment and background pieces were punched with the Double Oval Punch and adhered with dimensionals in order for the corner of the Brick and Mortar piece to slip behind it to hold the card closed.

On the inside at the top, the wisteria was stamped in Highland Heather then the detailed small stamp was stamped over the Highland Heather with Gorgeous Grape ink. The leaves were stamped with Garden Green ink.

The wisteria vine was cut from Gorgeous Grape cardstock and adhered to the bottom inside.

I hope you like my card and will take a minute to vote here for my card. Just click on the heart in the upper right-hand corner. Thank you so much!
