Learn How to Make a Fractured Card with the Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Paper

Hello and welcome to my blog! Today I'm going to show you how to make an easy fractured card using the beautiful Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Paper. First, let's take a look at the card and important points in making this card. At the bottom of my post are links for a free tutorial an instructional video.

Before we get to the fractured card part, here is the focal point of my card. The flower was cut with the Zinnia Dies out of Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper.

Step 1 is to adhere a square to the upper center of your card front. Then you take one of your 1/4" strips, begin at the top point, and adhere the strip from the point over to the edge of your paper. You can trim the edge now or wait until you have done all 4 sides.

Step 2 is to adhere the next strip starting at the next corner to the right, with your strip right up to the previous strip. Adhere it all the way down to the edge of your paper.

Step 3 continue around the square with your strips.

Step 4 you finish outlining your square with the 1/4" strips. Trim all the edges, if you haven't already. Now you can finish it off with the flowers and sentiment.

Tada! Here's your finished card! See how easy that was! Now you can give it a try.

In-Person Card Classes or Kits to Make at Home Father's Day/Masculine Cards

Hello and welcome to my blog! My In-Person Classes, or kits to make at home, are coming up the first week of June (I'm taking some vacation time in May.) The 3 cards you will make are designed for either Father's Day or masculine cards. You'll make 3 cards, and the in-person cost is $25 or free with a $35 order. This includes printed instructions and envelopes. The schedule is as follows:

Sunday, June 2nd at 2:00

Monday, June 3rd at 12:00  This Class is Full

Monday, June 3rd at 5:00

Thursday, June 6th at 12:00

I am also offering kits for you to make in your own home! You will receive all the cardstock and die cuts, with written instructions and videos, to make the 3 cards we are making in the class. See the Flowers of Beauty Stamp and Spotlight on Nature Circle Dies for the Crafty Collaborations Stampin Dreams Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my blog! Today I'm hopping with a talented group of Crafty Collaborations demonstrators. Our focus is the new In Colors and I'm introducing Pretty in Pink and Summer Splash, along with some new products from the 2024 Annual Catalog that went live May 1, 2024. The products I want to show you are the Unbounded Beauty Designer Series paper, the Spotlight on Nature circle dies, and the Flowers of Beauty stamp set. Here is the card I have made for you. The center flower is from the Layered Flowers Embossing Folder.

These are Flowers of Beauty flowers stamped on white glimmer paper in Pretty in Pink ink and colored slightly with a Light Bubble Bath Blend.
