Team Members' Swaps-(click here if reading in email)

Hi, Everyone,
Today I want to share the beautiful cards my Demonstrator Team members made for our monthly card swap. I have such a talented group of team members!

Linda Ray used the beautiful Accented Blooms stamp and the bleach technique. She heat embossed the stamp with gold embossing powder then "colored" inside the lines of the flowers with a bleach and water solution to lighten out the blue in the flowers. Very pretty!

Next, Judy Weston used the Coffee Café stamp, but made a very interesting fancy fold! Below is the card from the front and opened. So intricate!
Who doesn't like kittens? Jodi Godwin used the cute stamp set Pretty Kitty for her swap. So sweet! In addition she also made another card with the Share What You Love designer series paper. Good use of patterned paper!

Mary Digiovanni did a nice job with the Varied Vases Bundle which is the stamp set and matching punch. She also was very creative using only the Happy in the Happy Birthday thinlit. So elegant!
Nettie Calloway made 2 colorful cards using the Share What You Love Designer Series Paper and a beautiful butterfly on one of them. So colorful!
Vicki Sellars' card reminds of Florida with the tropical leaves on it from the Tropical Escape stamp set. So summery looking!
Thank you Marilyn Kelly for bringing us a very cool make and take. This card is the unique triangle fold style card. The top section folds up and bottom one folds to the side. She used the beautiful Serene Garden stamp set. It was so much fun to make!
And, lastly, my swap was made with several new items from the catalog-Stitched All Round and coordinating framelits Stitched Labels, the new Leaf Ribbon, Delicate Lace Edgelits, the new Climbing Vine Embossing Folder, the new Detailed Trio Punch for the corners, and inside I used the Botanical Tags Thinlits.

Now do you see what a talented group of Team Members I have? You could join my team, too, and this month get a whole set of 10 stamp pads FREE! That's in addition to the Started Kit which is $125 in products of your choice for only $99 plus tax.  No shipping charges! You are not under any obligations if you should join, unless you want to stay active, and that would only entail $300 in purchases by the end of December! Contact me if you would like to join my team for more information.

July Home Decor with Stampin' Up Products (click here if reading in email)

Hi, Everyone,
I know many of you see my Facebook posts and it probably looks like all we do is make cards, but Stampin' Up products aren't just for cards. I just completed the 3rd in a series of 4 classes where we made decorative panels from card stock representing the months of the year. These panels are used for decorating our homes by using Velcro dots to attach the panels to a glass plate that is displayed on a decorative easel.

A group of demonstrators in our area that meet monthly participated in a calendar swap where each demonstrator picked a month of the year and made a calendar to be displayed on a stand.

Below is my display for the month of July. The plate flag was inspired by Michelle Zindorf, the pot of daisies was made in a class held by my downline, Linda Ray, and the calendar was made by one of my fellow demonstrators (if you see this and know it's yours, please leave a comment so I can give you credit). I think it looks great! So you see, we do more than make cards! Come join us!

Watch and Learn Wednesday - Using the New Cleaning Shammy (click here if reading in email to view video)

Hi, Everyone,
I have been using the cleaning Shammy in my classes the last week and have found it to be very effective and easy to use. As far as cleaning it, you just rinse it out when you are through using it, or when it becomes saturated with ink. Do let it dry between uses or it will develop a sour smell.  I threw it in the washing machine today and it cleaned up nicely. It fits perfectly in one of our clear DVD size cases. You're really going to want one of these! Here's a short video from Connie Stewart demonstrating how to use it.

If you would like one of these, contact me or click on the picture below to place an order. If you should decide to place an order and it is under $150, please use the Hostess Code CTXHY2Z3.
