Hello and welcome to my blog! Today I'm sharing a birthday card I made with the Forever Florals Dies and the beautiful Velvet Meadow Specialty Designer Series Paper. What is so special about this paper is all the white areas on the pieces are flocked or velvet feeling. At the end of this post is a link for you to download a free tutorial with all the instructions and measurements and, also, a video showing the construction of this card. Check it out. Links to all the supplies I used are also at the bottom. Let's look at a few details of this card.

Here is the front of the card. Let me give you some details about this front. The top piece is the Velvet Meadow Specialty Designer Series Paper cut with a die from Floral Florals Dies. It was adhered to a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Pool Party Pastels Shimmer Designer Series Paper.

The sentiment from Beautiful Balloons Stamp set (retired) was stamped in Lost Lagoon Ink on a piece of All Season Velvet Specialty Designer Series Paper. A die from Beautifully Celebrated was used to cut the paper. The shimmer leaves are a die from Delicate Whispers. The Bubble Bath Shimmer pods were punched with the Bough Punch (retired).
