Cards we Made at our Club Meeting Today! (click here if reading in email)

Pictured above are the 2 cards we made at our Club Meeting today.  The top one uses a modified version of an eclipse card with the stamp set Happy Birthday Gorgeous. The bottom card uses the ever so popular Waterfront stamp set.

If you're not familiar with a Club, a club is a group of around 6 or more members who meet each month. The members commit to placing an order of a decided-on amount (usually around $25-$30) each month with a rotation system to designate the Hostess, who receives the Hostess Rewards for that month. This could be an actual physical club like I'm a member of or a Virtual Club where members get their club members to commit and place their orders online with a Hostess Code. The demonstrator would mail supplies to the club members each month designed around a decided on stamp set that the members could order to enable them to complete the designed cards.

If interested in either of these club designs, contact me and we can work something out!

Watch and Learn Wednesday and Class Highlights (click here if reading in email to view videos)

It's Watch and Learn Wednesday and today I have 2 videos to share. The first one is the highlight slideshow from my Saturday, Sunday, and Monday Plate Décor Classes.  We had so much fun making these panels thanks to Ninette Morse, Katie Morse, Brenda Ferrell, Sarah Blalock, Sallie Payne, Pat Lawrence, Lynda Davenport, Terri Stone, Nettie Faye Williams, Recie Culpepper, Paula Brooks, Debbie Waters, and Gaile Bass.

The July, August, and September Panel Classes are Thursday, June 29th at noon and 5:00, Saturday, June 30th at noon, and Sunday, July 1st at 2:00. Come join the fun!

Today's video tip is how to stamp without rocking your block (as opposed to rocking the boat). This video was made by Robin Brown and I thought some of you might find it helpful. I know how we all hate to get those halos around our sentiments!

Watch and Learn Wednesday and the Retiring List (click here if reading in email to view videos)

Monday's Plate Décor Class
We had a fun and exciting class Monday making our panels for our display plates for the months of April, May, and June.  The April panel represents spring showers and May represents the flowers that the April showers bring. June, of course, reminds us of going to the beach. Enjoy our short video of our class.

Color Revamp
In case you haven't heard, Stampin' Up! is doing a color revamp with the new catalog. Basically, what this means is that some colors are going, some are coming back, and we have a few new ones, but the exciting part is that the ink pads have been redesigned for easier opening and the ability to stack. Below is a short video that a demonstrator in England, Amanda Charlesworth, explains the changes.

Retiring List
And, last, but not least, here are the products that are retiring from the Occasions Catalog and the Annual Catalog.  Take a look here.

Product Showcase-Stampin' Up! Markers (click here if reading in your email to view the video)

Hi, Everyone,
Today I want to give you a closer look at our Stampin' Up! Markers. They are available in all our stamp pad colors and will do everything, and more, that a stamp pad can do. They can be purchased as a whole set that includes the case, or by color families which does not include the case. The nice thing, too, is that you can sign all your cards in the matching ink colors.

I have available a Marker program that would involve groups of 4. It would run for 4 months and each month your would receive one of the 4 color families. That is why it would need to be groups of 4. I would also rotate who would receive the carrying case each month, so that by the end of the 4 months, not only will you have all the markers, you will also have the carrying case! For only $30 a month for 4 months, you can own the whole marker set! That would be much easier on the pocketbook that $120 all at one time, but of course you could do that, too! Just let me know if you would be interested in this program.

Below is an introductory video by Wendy Cranford highlighting a few things you can do with our Markers. Take a look!

Watch and Learn Wednesday! (if reading in your email, click here to view video)

Hi, Everyone!
It's Watch and Learn Wednesday, and today I have a couple of videos from France Martin (aka Frenchie).  The first one is a tip on sharpening your punches. It just so happens I was punching some pieces for a card, and my circle punch was not giving me a clean cut on the edges. That's very frustrating when you're making a card for a gift! Frenchie has made an excellent, short video on taking care of this problem.  Take a look!

In this next video she shows you how to solve that aggravating problem of the punch lock coming out of your punch.  First time that happened to me, I thought my punch was broken! I quickly discovered the punch still worked just fine, it just didn't lock. With a little manipulating, I managed to pop the lock back in.  Watch Frenchie's solution.

I hope you enjoyed these videos and, hopefully, learned something!
