Flowering Vines for Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Highlights Winners Hop

Hi, Everyone!
First, I want to say I'm so excited to be participating in the Top Ten International Highlights Winners Blog Hop March, 2021, hosted by Kylie Bertucci! I earned this honor with my card, Welcoming Window, placing in the top 10 of Kylie's March 2021 International Highlights (actually, first place thanks to your votes). Thank you to everyone who voted for my card!

The theme for our cards is thank you, and I can never thank my team members and customers enough!!! Where would I be without them.

I chose the gorgeous die set Flowering Vines, as the focal point for this card. This beautiful designer series paper is from the Love You Always set, the Sahara Sand piece. I cut a 5 1/4" x 4" piece and cut the Flowering Vines rectangle die out of the center. I adhered the piece that the Flowering Vine was cut from on the card front of my 11" x 4 1/4" Misty Moonlight card base.

The next piece is also Misty Moonlight and it measures 3 1/4" x 4 1/2 ". I cut it with the 3rd from largest Stitched Rectangle die and adhered it with dimensionals, and then the beautiful die cut piece on it.
The Vase Builder punch was used to punch my vases out of scraps from the Boho Indigo Kit. The metallic stems coming out of the vases were cut out of the Love You Always Foil Sahara Sand piece, using the die from the Forever Flourishing Die set. The middle vase metallic piece is from the Sunflower die set. A Misty Moonlight/White twine bow finishes off the vases.
I love this saying from the Ornate Thanks stamp set because it is so versatile. On this card, I "just wanted to say" thanks for everything.
I hope you like my card and will come back to visit my blog. Please take a minute to visit the blogs of the other winners listed below.

Hi, Everyone!
All Occasions Card Classes are coming up next week. I have cards planned for you from water coloring to curtain folding! You will make 3 cards and the cost is $15, which includes envelopes and printed instructions. All you need to bring are your adhesives (which I have for sell) and your scissors. The schedule is a follows:
Monday, April 5th  Noon  This class is full.
Thursday, April 8th  Noon
Thursday, April 8th   5:00
Saturday, April 10th  Noon
Sunday, April 11th   2:00
This first card has embossed designer series paper and uses the beautiful Lacy Petals dies for the flowers.
This next card features the curtain-fold technique and has a masculine look to it.
The water-color technique is the fun part of this card. I used the chicken coop from the Hey Chick dies to make the barn.

I hope you like these cards and will consider attending my classes, if you live in the area. Give me a shout out and let me know which day and time you would like to attend.

Easter Cards for my Grandsons!

Hi, Crafty Happy People!
Easter is coming up and I wanted to share 2 fun Easter cards I made for my grandsons.

This first one is for my 14-month-old grandson, Grady. He is such a cutie and at that "getting into everything" age. Below is his card and a picture of him.

I used the retired Owl Builder punch to make these cute chicks. The retiring All Wired Up background stamp was heat embossed with silver embossing powder, and made the perfect background for the chicks and to cut his name out with.

The next card is for his brother, Marshall, who is 4 years old. Marshall is a mess, too, and a ton of fun. His card is a new fancy fold I learned watching Dawn Griffin's tutorial. That cute bunny is from the Welcome Easter stamp set. The designer paper is from the Sand and Sea set.

Thank you for visiting my blog, and Happy Easter to everyone!

Seashells and All Occasions Cards Classes

Hi, Crafty, Happy Friends!
My All Occasions Cards Classes are fast approaching, and I don't think you're going to want to miss out on these classes! Above is one of the cards you will make using the Friends are Like Seashells stamp set, dies, and embossing folder. Stampin' Up has hit it out of the park with this suite of products. The stamps, dies, and embossing folder all work together to give a unique and wow effect to any card.

For class, all you need to bring are your scissors and adhesives (I have those available for purchase). Class fee is $15 and includes 3 different cards, printed instructions, and envelopes. The schedule is as follows:

Monday, March 22nd  12:00 Class is Full

Thursday, March 25th  12:00 and 5:00

Saturday, March 27th  12:00

Sunday, March 28th   2:00

This first card is made with a set I almost overlooked in the January-June Mini Catalog-Flowering Vine Dies. Not only does this die set have the rectangular die you see below, but beautiful circle and oval dies with the same design.

I also used the Vase Builder punch to add a focal point to the card front.
This next card is made with the Friends are Like Seashells stamp set, dies, and embossing folder. When you use this set, you cut the shells out of cardstock, stamp each shell with its coordinating stamp, then emboss that piece with the Seashells embossing folder.
I also used the Pinewood Planks embossing folder, but applied Soft Suede ink to the embossing folder before running it through my Cut and Emboss Machine.

This last card was also made with the Seashells Embossing Folder and the beautiful Pearlescent Specialty Paper. This paper makes a statement by itself.

Welcoming Window for Kylie's International Blog Highlight Vote For Me!

Hi, Crafty Happy People!
I've made this gorgeous Welcoming Window Thank You card for Kylie's International Blog Highlights. This means I'm asking you to vote for me so I can participate in her Top 10 Blog Hop! CLICK HERE TO VOTE! Look for entry #16.

Now let's talk about this card. Thanking someone for a gesture you're thankful for will be easy with a card this beautiful, and, yes, it does fold up to fit in an envelope. The nice part is that this card is easy to assemble, once your pieces are cut.

The card base is Thick White scored at 5 1/2" and 2 3/4". That forms the base. I'm going to show you some close-ups of elements of this card, but instead of getting into a lot of details, I'll give you a link to a complete instruction sheet.

I decided to add a white picket fence going around the house. The fence die from Garden Gateway works perfectly for the effect I wanted.

I'm a cat lover (I own 5 cats), so I put a kitty looking in the window.

I also love to work in the yard and added all these lovely plants.
This side view shows the pieces I had to add to get this card to stand up like I wanted it to. I made a little curb/box to adhere my fence to. I also added another raised up strip behind the fence to help the wall of the house stand more erect.
Remember I told it would fold flat to fit in an envelope? Well, here it is folded flat.

I hope you like my card and I appreciate you taking a minute to vote for it. Vote here!

Easter/Spring Theme Card Classes Next Week

Hi, Crafty Happy, People!
It's only a month until Easter, so come join me in my Easter/Spring Cards Classes next week. Above is one of the cards we will be making, along with 2 other cards, pictured below. The cost is $15 for 3 cards (and if you just have to make all 4 cards, the cost is $18) and includes envelopes and printed instructions. All you need to bring are your scissors and favorite adhesives, which I have available for purchase for your convenience. Each card is designed for you to pick your own sentiment, if you don't need Easter cards.

The schedule is as follows:
Thursday, March 11th at 12:00  3 openings
Thursday, March 11th at 5:00  6 openings
Saturday, March 13th at 12:00  8 openings
Sunday, March 14th at 2:00  4 openings

Let's don't waste any time and take a look at all the cards.

These 2 cards are really just one choice. You can pick if you want to make the one with the cross or the one with the Easter eggs. The cross card you can make as I have designed it, or you can eliminate the cross, and have just the wreath with flowers on your card.

This next card is the same card except the flowers are Easter eggs. If you would like, you can make both of these cards.

This next card you will make uses the gorgeous Fine Art Floral Designer Series paper. Looking at the next picture, you can see that this is a fancy fold card using a flap that the flowers are on for the opening and closing.

This last card you will make uses the Tranquil Dies as the focal point for the greenery. Of course, this sponging techniques gives a lovely effect.
This is the beautiful inside you will make, if you choose to make this an Easter card.

Contact me at robbiesusan@rsvpcardsandcrafts.com and let me know which day and time you would like to make these lovely Easter cards. Also, if you are going to make 3 or 4 cards. Hope to hear from you!
