Quiet Reflection Thank You Card for Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Highlights Winners Hop

Hello and welcome to Kylie Bertucci's International Winners Blog Hop! Today I'm joining Kylie Bertucci and a group of very talented demonstrators for a blog hop around the world. I'm so excited to be participating in the Top Ten International Highlights Winners Blog Hop! I earned this honor with my card, Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper Card. I am honored that you voted for my card.  Thank you so much.

This card that I'm sharing with you today is a simple but elegant thank you card made with the Delicate Forest Dies and the Quiet Reflection stamp set. My customers will be making this card at our next card classes. Let's take a look at the card.

The base of this card is made with Pretty Peacock cardstock and is 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" folded in a half. The next layer is a 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" piece of Lost Lagoon.

A 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Poetic Expressions Designer Series Paper was cut with the die from Delicate Forest. You need to cut your paper the exact size you want the finished piece to be because the die doesn't cut around the edge, only the leaves and trees out of the middle. I then put dimensionals on the back and adhered only the top of this piece to the card front.

I cut a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock with the arch die from Garden Meadow dies. Next, I inked up the Quiet Reflection stamp with Pretty Peacock ink on the top half and Misty Moonlight on the bottom half then stamped on the Very Vanilla arch. This piece was then slipped up under the designer series piece and both pieces adhered down.

The thank you from Charming Sentiments was stamped on Very Vanilla in Misty Moonlight and cut with the coordinating die from Sentiment Silhouettes. It was then adhered to the lower left-hand corner.

Next In-Person Classes-Valentine's Day Cards!!! Week of January 22nd

Hello and welcome to my blog! Can you believe it's time to start thinking about Valentine's Day Cards!! I like to hold classes for upcoming holidays several weeks in advance, so we'll have time to get them in the mail. The cards will feature all new items from the upcoming January-April Mini Catalog. You'll make 3 Valentine's Day cards, and the cost is $20 or free with a $30 order. This includes printed instructions and envelopes. The schedule is as follows:

Monday, January 22nd  This class is full

Thursday January 25th at 12:00

Thursday, January 25th at 5:00

Sunday, January 28th  at 2:00

The Stippled Roses Stamp Set and Dies are the focal point of this gorgeous card. I have designed it for a birthday card, also.

The inside features the Hooray for Surprises Bundle.

This next one is one of my favorites and it features the Trusty Tools Stamp set and dies. The saying is from the Perennial Postage stamp set.

On the last card I used the new Adoring Heart Hybrid Embossing folder and dies. This embossing folder has the heart embossing folder and 14 dies! There is also a bundle that includes a stamp set.

Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper Card for Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Highlights

Hello and welcome to my blog. I've made this beautiful gatefold thank you card for Kylie's International Blog Highlights. The card I'm featuring is made with the Softly Stipppled Designer Series Paper that's a free Saleabration item you earn with a $50 order! I am going to show you a selection of pictures of this card then provide you with a link to a free tutorial with all the dimensions and instruction. To assist you with constructing this card, I have provided links to all the supplies I used.

I started with an 11" x 4 1/4" Pool Party base folded in half. On the left side is a 1" x 5 1/4" piece of the tweed design from the Softly Stippled designer series paper. On the right side is the beautiful flowery piece in Pool Party and Wild Wheat. Before adhering these pieces to the card base, I embossed them with the Softly Sophisticated Embossing Folder that is also a free Saleabration product.

The sentiment is from the Thoughtful Expressions stamp set and is stamped on a Basic White piece of paper in Wild Wheat. The Lost Lagoon background piece is from the Soft Shimmer Paper pack. Both pieces were cut with dies from the Thoughtful Expression Die set.

The leafy strip is a die from Notes of Nature and is cut out of the Distressed Gold Specialty paper.

In this close-up you can see the embossing and also the Adhesive-Backed Birds.

On the inside I stamped a thank you sentiment.
