Merry Melody and Christmas Season for the Crafty Collaboration Music Blog Hop


Hello Crafty People!
Today I'm blog hopping with a talented group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators. Our theme is anything music, so I was thrilled when I saw our new embossing folder, Merry Melody, in the current August-December Mini Catalog. After a little humming, I figured out it is Joy to the World music score on the folder. I just love Christmas music!
My card was constructed with the Christmas Pinecones and Seasonal Labels dies. The designer series paper is from the Painted Christmas package. I layered a 4" x 5 1/4" pinecone design piece on my 11" x 4 1/4" Cherry Cobbler card base. A 5" x 3 3/4" piece of Basic White was embossed with the Merry Melody embossing folder and I lightly sponged some Gray Granite ink over the raised design. 
The spruce was cut from Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent cardstock using the Christmas Pines die. The pinecones from the same die set with Early Espresso and gold foil paper. Behind the pinecones are sprigs I punched with the Sprig punch out of Cherry Cobbler cardstock. 

The sentiment is from the Christmas to Remember stamp set, which is bundled with the Christmas Pinecone dies for a 10% discount. I cut all the layers with dies from Seasonal Labels die set. I love the way they layer so nicely on each other!
The inside sentiment is also from the Christmas to Remember stamp set. The greenery at the top is from the Evergreen Elegance stamp set.


Of course we can't send a Christmas card unless it is in a lovely envelope. I used the same paper that is on the card front for the back flap.

All Occasions Plus a Christmas Card Classes


Hi, Everyone!
I'm holding my next cards classes the first week of September, and you're going to love these cards! The cost of the class is $15 and includes printed instructions and envelopes. All you need to bring are your scissors and adhesives. We will be using 3 different bundles from the August-December Mini Catalog. The schedule is as follows:
Thursday, September 2nd at 12:00
Thursday, September 2nd at 5:00
Saturday, September 4th at 12:00
One of the cards you will make is the one pictured at the top of the post. It features the Peaceful Cabin stamp set and die set. I wanted to go with a non-Christmas card with this set to show the versatility of the set.

Another card is the one below, and it is constructed with the Gorgeous Leaves stamp set and coordinating dies. I also used the Timeworn Type Embossing Folder.

And, last but not least, is the Christmas card made with the Merriest Moments Bundle. This bundle includes a stamp set, coordinating dies, and an embossing folder! The shimmery vellum background piece is embossed with the Merriest Frames Embossing Folder.
