Cross of Hope for Easter

Hi, Everyone!
Easter is just around the corner and the Stampin' Up! Cross of Hope Die Set is perfect for an Easter Card. I decided to use a different style for this card that I felt would highlight the cross. Before I reveal the details, let's take a look at the card.
I have also entered this card in the Global Design Project #GDP235 theme challenge which is Spring/Easter.

The supplies for this card are as follows:

Cardstock:
Pretty Peacock 4 ¼” x 7 ¾” (scored at 5 ½”) for the base, 2” x 4 ¼” for the bottom section, 2 ¼” x 3 ¾” is the piece behind the cross
Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper 4” x 1 ¾” (bottom), 2” x 4” (top)
Very Vanilla 4” x 5 ¼” inside piece

Stamp Sets:     Easter Promise, Forever Blossoms, Painted Harvest
Stamp Pads:    VersaMark, Pretty Peacock
Big Shot:          Cross of Hope, Word Wishes, Pinewood Plank  Embossing Folder
Punch:             Leaf, Small Flower

Copper Embossing Powder
Champagne Rhinestones

I chose this design from the Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper because it reminded me of the palm branches representing Easter.  Adhere the larger Tropical Oasis paper piece to the top of the card base and the smaller piece to the 4 ¼” x 2” Pretty Peacock piece. Emboss copper piece with Pinewood Plank embossing folder and adhere to the 2 ¼” x 3¾” piece. Cut the cross from Pretty Peacock cardstock and adhere on the copper foil piece. Adhere the cross piece to the folded card front and the other front piece by lining up the bottom edge on top of the back of the card base so they are even.

Stamp 5 flowers from the Forever Blossoms stamp set in VersaMark on Lovely Lipstick cardstock and heat emboss with copper embossing powder. Punch with the small flower punch (Saleabration punch). Adhere to the bottom of the cross and on the bottom left card front. Adhere Champagne Rhinestones to flower centers.

Stamp 3 leaves from the Painted Harvest stamp set on Pear Pizzazz in VersaMark and heat emboss with copper embossing powder. Punch with the leaf punch and adhere around flowers.

Stamp inside Very Vanilla piece with desired sentiment and adhere to the inside. Cut Happy Easter with Word Wishes dies from Lovely Lipstick cardstock and adhere to inside.

I hope you like this card and have a very Happy Easter!
