Hi, My Crafty Friends,
The card I'm spotlighting today I entered in the TGIF Sketch Challenge #TGIFC324.
I had my eye on this design for one of my Christmas cards for my Christmas in July Card Classes, so this just sealed the deal. For more information on my Christmas in July Card Class, please click here.
This card features the Evergreen Elegance Stamp Set.
I stamped the greenery across the center of the card on an angle and added some berries. The greenery and the evergreen tree decorated the corners. Next, I embossed this piece with the Wintry Embossing Folder.
I cut a 1 1/4" Real Red strip, then cut one edge with the die from the Peony dies. On a 3/4" Basic White piece, I stamped the sentiment. Next, I adhered the sentiment to the Real Red piece, placed it across the Basic White piece between the greenery, trimmed it even with the edges, then adhered it to the Basic White piece. This piece was then adhered to a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Shaded Spruce card base.
This is how I stamped the inside.
Here's the surprise! The inside has a little gift card holder!
I hope you like my card. If you live in the area (Tallahassee, Florida, USA), you're welcome to come make it at my classes.
