Hi, Everyone!
Today is Technique Tuesday and we're featuring Vintage-Style cards! I love vintage cards and can't wait to see what the other demonstrators participating in our hop have to show us! Let's take a look at my vintage card.
The stamp set I used for this card is Amazing Silhouettes, and I also used the Soft Pastels to add color to the stamps. I'll hit the highlights for this card, but you will be able to download a free tutorial with complete instructions and measurements.
The butterfly stamp was stamped in VersaMark and the Mango Melody Soft Pastel chalk was applied by scraping it over the VersaMark and blended with a Blending Brush.
The leaf stamp was stamped in VersaMark across the bottom of the card front. Coastal Cabana pastel was scraped across these and blended with a Blending Brush.
I then embossed this piece with Timeworn Type Embossing folder and lightly blended some more Coastal Cabana chalk across the raised print.
The foliage was cut with dies from Honeybee Blooms dies and the butterfly with a die from Brilliant Wings. The sentiment is from Positive Thoughts and cut with a die from Seasonal Labels. Did you notice the little rocks on the card? Those are the beautiful Faux Sea Glass Shapes. Aren't they cool?!
To complete the inside, I stamped the fern and sentiment from Positive Thoughts, then brushed some chalk across the fern.
