Lovely and Lasting Emboss Resist for Kylie Bertucci's Monthly International Blog Highlights

Hello and welcome to my blog. I've made this beautiful card for Kylie's International Blog Highlights. This means I'm asking you to vote for my card so I can participate in her Top 10 Blog Hop! CLICK HERE TO VOTE! Look for entry #9. Just click on the heart in the upper right-hand corner. It will turn red when you have voted.

The card I am sharing with you today is one I'll be teaching in my In-Person classes next week. It's an emboss resist card using the Lovely and Lasting stamp set and Gorgeous Grape and Soft Succulent inks. All the instructions are included in a free tutorial. There is a box below for you to click on to download the tutorial.

Emboss resist technique involves stamping images in VersaMark and heating white or clear embossing powder over the images. I have used white embossing powder.

After heat setting your images, you then brush/blend the colors of your choice all over the cardstock. To make you images pop through the ink, wipe your cardstock with a paper towel to remove the extra ink. This is where the resist part comes in as the white embossing powder will resist taking on the ink and it will wipe right off, revealing your white image. It's like magic!!!
The beautiful Scalloped Contours dies were used to cut the image out. Soft Succulent Woven Ribbon was added at the bottom. I love this ribbon and all the other colors it comes in!

Click on the box below to download your free tutorial. I have provided links below to the supplies used to make this card.

I hope you like my card and will take a minute to vote here for my card. Just click on the heart in the upper right-hand corner. Thank you so much!
