Hello and welcome to Kylie Bertucci's International Winners Blog Hop! Today I'm joining Kylie Bertucci and a group of very talented demonstrators for a blog hop around the world. I'm so excited to be participating in the Top Ten International Highlights Winners Blog Hop! I earned this honor with my card, Soft Seedlings Double Fold Card. Thank you so much for voting for me.

It seemed only fitting to feature another card made with the awesome Soft Seedlings Stamp Set. This card is a book bind card and features autumnal colors.

You can see in the below picture the "book bind" feature. To achieve this look, score a 4 1/4" x 11" piece of cardstock at 5 1/2" and 4 1/4". Fold on the score lines and adhere the 1 1/4" section on the left together.

Notice another feature on this card. I stamped the leaves stamp from Cottage Wreath stamp set on the Natural Finish ribbon and adhered it around a 4" x 1 1/8" piece of Cajun Craze cardstock. The colors used were Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, and Rich Razzleberry.

I also used the same stamp and colors on the Very Vanilla piece for the card inside.

Now let's talk about how to stamp the leaf. The leaf was stamped on all 4 corners of a 3 7/8" Very Vanilla square as follows:
1. Ink the whole leaf in Pumpkin Pie and stamp.
2. Using a dauber, ink the sides sections of the leaf with Rich Razzleberry and stamp.
3. Lastly, ink the middle section all the way up to the tip of the leaf with Old Olive and stamp.

To add the specks to this piece and the inside piece, I put a little puddle of Cajun Craze reinker on a block then dipped my juicy Wink of Stella in it. Using the cap of the Wink of Stella, I flicked the ink onto the cardstock. The further away from the paper you are, the smaller the flicks will be. This piece was adhered to a 4" square of Cajun Craze then adhered to the card front.

This cute Pumpkin Pie circle was cut with a die from Brushed Shapes.
