Gone Fishing Father's Day Card for the Crafty Collaborations Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my blog! Today I'm hopping with the Crafty Collaboration Father's Day Cards Blog Hop. The card I'm sharing is also one my customers will make at my in-person classes the week of June 5th. This card features the new Gone Fishing Suite and Bundle! Let's take a look! I'm posting a lot of pictures of the card without dimensions but will provide a free tutorial you can download at the end of the post.

Below is the front. The cardstock I used is the new Pecan Pie and Boho Blue, along with Early Espresso and the new designer series paper, Let's Go Fishing. Cane Weave Embossing Folder was used on the background piece.

Here the exciting inside! The dies included in this stamp set cut all the pieces on this card. The only extra item you may want is a corner rounder. I used Misty Moonlight card stock for the top layer of the sectional piece, but also have another one cut from Boho Blue underneath it for stability and for the stamped sections.

The Best Label punch was used to make the hinges and closure tab on the front. Behind "DAD", I embossed the Boho Blue piece with the Twisted Rope Embossing Folder.

Now let's take a closer look at the inside of the tackle box and each of the sections. All the stamps and dies are in the Gone Fishing Bundle.

This lure was cut with a die from silver foil.

Back to the front-the word "DAD" was cut with the Alphabet a la Mode die set out of Early Espresso cardstock.
