Hello and welcome to my blog! Today I want to share an easy and elegant card made with the Charming Day Dies and stamp set. A technique I used was heat embossing on vellum and coloring with Blends.

At the end of this post is a link for you to download a free tutorial with all the instructions and measurements and, also, a video showing the construction of this card. Links to all the supplies I used are also at the bottom.

Here is the front of the card. The Floral Charm Designer Series Paper is the pretty piece on the right. The Cloud Cover piece on the left was cut with a die from the Fancy Borders dies, then embossed with one of the Glass and Garden Embossing Folders.

Here's a closer look at the embossed area. The leaves were cut with dies from Charming Day out of Lost Lagoon. The Misty Moonlight pods were punched with the Bough Punch.

The roses and leaves were heat embossed on vellum with white embossing powder. I then turned this piece over and colored the back with Dark Lost Lagoon and Light and Dark Blackberry Bliss. It was then cut with the coordinating die from Charming Day Dies. A Basic White piece was cut with the same die and adhered behind the vellum piece to help the colors pop. I demonstrate this in my video. It was then adhered to the card front with dimensionals.

The inside was cut from Bubble Bath with a die from Textured Notes dies. The sentiment and flower were stamped in Blackberry Bliss and are in the Charming Day Stamp Set.
