Hello and welcome to my blog! Today I want to share an easy card made with the beautiful Autumn Toile Designer Series Paper and the Sentimental Frames Dies.
At the end of this post is a link for you to download a free tutorial with all the instructions and measurements and, also, a video showing the construction of this card. Links to all the supplies I used are also at the bottom.
Here is the front of the card. A 4" x 5 1/2" piece of the Autumn Toile Designer Series Paper was cut with the largest die from Sentimental Frames. The outside frame was adhered with dimensionals.
If you look closely at the center section, you can see that I used a blending brush and applied Crumb Cake ink to the bottom third, Basic Beige to the middle third, and Cloud Cover to the top third. I love how it makes this section stand out from the frame. The deer were cut out of Early Espresso with a die from Autumm Trees and slipped down behind the frame.
This is the way the card looks folded up to go into an envelope.
One more look! This view shows the easel fold.
I hope you will give this card a try. To download your free tutorial, just click on the box below.
