Autumn Trees Bundle Paired with the Iridescent Treat Bags

Hello and welcome to my blog! Today I want to share a beautiful and easy card made with a product you wouldn't think to use this way, the Iridescent Treat Bags and the Autumn Trees Bundle! Let's take a look.

Here is the front of the card. Look at that special effect the Iridescent Treat Bag gives!

Here you can see that it is an easel card. Just score your 11" x 4 1/4" card base at 5 1/2" and 2 3/4".

Now let's discuss how to use the treat bag. Adhere it to a 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" piece of Darling Duckling. Look how it becomes a sunset! I then cut a 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" piece of Early Espresso with the largest Branching Out die and adhered it over this piece.

The Iridescent Treat Bag piece and frame were then embossed with the Birch Wood Embossing Folder.

How did I get the tree to look like that? Lots of ink and some die cutting. I'm not going to try to explain it as it would be better for you to watch me do this step in my video. Just click on the picture below to watch.

But, to give you a hint, I started with a piece of Basic White and brushed 6 different colors on it and ended up with this piece. This is what I cut my trees from.

Here are the cut pieces from the above piece.

A strip from the Autum Toile designer series paper was brushed with Cajun Craze ink and adhered to an Early Espresso strip. The sentiment was stamped in Cajun Craze ink on a piece of Crumb Cake and cut with the smallest die from Textured Notes Dies. The embellishments are Streaked Dots.
