Cute Card made with the Easter Basket Bundle and Easter Joy Specialty Designer Series Paper

Hello and welcome to my blog!  Today I'm sharing an Easter card I made with the cute Easter Basket Bundle and the beautiful Easter Joy Specialty Designer Series Paper. This card could be for Easter or a birthday. At the end of this post is a link for you to download a free tutorial with all the instructions and measurements and, also, a video showing the construction of this card. Check it out. Links to all the supplies I used are also at the bottom. Most all of them are now on the Last Chance List, so get them while they're still available. Let's look at a few details of this card.

Here is the front of the card. Isn't that Easter Joy Specialty Designer Series Paper just beautiful! Also, it's a very thick and study cardstock.

The layers were cut with the Branching Out Dies.

The fern was cut out of Shy Shamrock cardstock with a die from Beautiful Motifs Dies. The flower was cut with dies from Simply Beautiful out of Pastels Shimmer Specialty Paper (Lemon Lolly).

Now the surprise! Take a look at this inside! Up pops a beautiful basket of flowers. All the dies are included in the Easter Basket Die set. Also, here are 2 more designs in the Easter Joy paper pack.

This side view shows the little box that is the mechanism for the basket.

Here's a close-up of the basket. This version would be nice to send to someone for their birthday. 

To make it an Easter basket, just add a chocolate bunny!

Here's the Easter card version.

This version could serve as a birthday card. Just change the sentiment and leave off the eggs. In my video, this is what I did.
