Rolling Waves Bundle Makes a Fantastic Ocean Scene

Hello and welcome to my blog!  Today I'm sharing a birthday card I made with the awesome Rolling Waves Bundle. This card is a great birthday card. At the end of this post is a link for you to download a free tutorial with all the instructions and measurements and, also, a video showing the construction of this card. Check it out. Links to all the supplies I used are also at the bottom. Let's look at a few details of this card.

Here is the front of the card. The Pastel Shimmer Specialty Paper in Pool Party really makes the waves seem real. The Lunar Lustre Specialty paper adds that topping on the waves. A piece of white glimmer paper give the illusion of the waves breaking.

Of course we have to have our setting sun! I stamped the waves below the die cuts with Pretty Peacock, stamping twice on the bottom layer and once on the the next layer.

Here's a close up of the die cuts for the waves.

Here's how I designed the inside. The Basic White piece was cut with a die from Branching Out. Pretty Peacock ink was used to stamp the sentiments from Beautiful Butterflies and Rolling Waves.
