Hello and welcome to my blog! Today I'm sharing a bonus card made with the Sunset Coast Bundle. The reason I'm calling it a bonus card is because I'm including it with my 6-part series of cards made with the Sunset Coast Bundle and the Scenic Coast Designer Series Paper. At the end of this post is a link for you to download a free tutorial with all the instructions and measurements and, also, a video showing the construction of this card. Links to all the supplies I used are also at the bottom. Let's look at a few details of this card. Here is the card folded up ready to go into an envelope.
When you open it out, as pictured below, it makes a beautiful coastal scene. The card base is an 11" x 4 1/4" piece of Pecan Pie cardstock scored at 4" and 6 3/4".
Let's look at each of the panels. Here's the front panel. The cardstock is a 4" x 4" piece of Crumb Cake with a 3 3/4" x 3 3/4" piece of Cloud Cover on it. The Cloud Cover piece was embossed with the Birch Wood Embossing Folder. The sailboat die was cut and adhered to the ray die.
This middle panel features the lighthouse. It's mounted to a 4" x 2 1/2" piece of Crumb Cake and a 3 3/4" x 2 1/4" piece of Cloud Cover embossed with the Birch Wood Embossing Folder.
The back panel is a 4" x 3 3/4" piece of Crumb Cake and a 3 3/4" x 3 1/2" piece of Cloud Cover also embossed. A piece of Golden Glow cardstock was cut with the net die (I cut 2). I then cut the net in half and used 2 on the back panel and one on the front panel.
On the back, I stamped a 3 1/2" x 3 3/4" piece of Basic Beige with the sentiment in Pecan Pie.
One last look at the card.
I hope you will give this card a try. To download your free tutorial, just click on the box below.

ReplyDeleteHi, Karen! Thank you so much for those kind words. I got excited when I saw you live in Florida then I saw your other comment where you clarified that you live below Sarasota. I was so disappointed. Do check out the other posts with that dsp. I tried to show as much of the dsp as possible since it is so gorgeous!
