Heat Foiling with the Garden Silhouette Die in Gold Foil on Vellum

Hello and welcome to my blog! Today I'm demonstrating how to make a card with the Stampin' Hot Foil System. This card uses the Garden Silhouette die and gold foil. At the end of this post is a link for you to download a free tutorial with all the instructions and measurements and, also, a video showing the construction of this card. Because of the steps involved in using the hot foil system, it's just easier to show you then to try to tell you how to do it. Links to all the supplies I used are also at the bottom. Let's look at a few details of this card. Here is the card folded up ready to go into an envelope.

The front sentiment was stamped on vellum in VersaMark and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. It was then adhered to a Poppy Parade piece. A gold mesh bow was added.
