Beautiful Sampler Class Coming Up!!

Isn't this sampler beautiful?!! I am holding classes the week of March 4th to make this gorgeous 10" x 10" sampler! The cost is $20 and you bring your own frame. Also, if the blue doesn't match your décor, then it will be very simple for us to use another color.
The schedule is as follows:

Monday, March 4th  This class is full.
Thursday, March 7th at 12:00
Thursday, March 7th at 5:00ish
Saturday, March 9th at 12:00
Sunday, March 10th at 2:00

So all you will need to bring are your scissors, adhesives, a snack to share, and a 10" x 10" frame.

Let me know which day and time you would like to come. Don't wait too long as classes are filling up fast!

Vibrant Vases for the Paper Craft Crew Card Sketch Challenge #325

Today I'm playing along with the Paper Craft Crews Card Sketch Challenge #325 with the beautiful stamp set, Vibrant  Vases.
 #pcc325
To create this beautiful card, I embossed a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Crumb Cake with the Tin Tile Embossing Folder and layered it on a Thick Whisper White card base. My next layer is a combination of the trellis die from the Rose Trellis Thinlits Dies (I cut 2 and overlapped them) framed with a frame created using the Stitched Rectangle Framelits, all in Whisper White. The vases were heat embossed on Crumb Cake with white embossing powder and punched with the coordinating punch. They were layered on a Whisper White piece cut with a die from the Rectangle Stitched Framelits that was embossed with the Subtle Embossing Folder.

The paper for the leaves was created by combining Pacific Point and Call Me Clover reinkers on a clear block, diluted and spread on the block with an aquapainter, and Whisper White paper pressed onto the block. The leaves were cut with the leaf die from the Wonderful Floral Framelits Dies, adhered behind the vases, and popped up on the Whisper White piece with dimensionals.

The sentiment, from the Vibrant Vases stamp set, was stamped on Whisper White with Pacific Point, cut with an oval from the Stitched Shaped Framelits, and adhered with dimensionals. Just for You is my go to sentiment when I'm making a card and not sure who the recipient will be.

TGIF Challenge #198 - Valentine's Day Card

Valentine's Day is right around the corner and what says Happy Valentine's Day better than a Hersey Kiss! This Valentine's Day card, entered in the TGIF198 sketch challenge, fits the bill.

Of course, I had to have a Hersey Kiss on the front with a bite taken out of it.  That was easy to do with a heart die or punch turned upside down, punched with a small scalloped circle or oval punch on the point of the heart, and wrapped in aluminum foil. Take a look at the inside!
I thought this sentiment, love you more than chocolate, just finished the idea of the front.

To create this card:

Cardstock:   Cherry Cobbler 4 ¼” x 11”
                    Crumb Cake 4” x 5 ¼”
Whisper White 4 ¼” strip for the 2 hearts
                    Early Espresso

1.    Fold card base in half.
2.    Emboss Crumb Cake piece with Pinewood Planks embossing folder.  Adhere to card front.
3.    Cut larger heart from Cherry Cobbler using largest stitched heart from Be Mine Stitched Framelits. Stamp sentiment in VersaMark in the middle of the Cherry Cobbler heart and heat emboss with silver embossing powder. Cut sentiment with smaller heart framelit.
4.   For Hersey Kiss, punch heart from Early Espresso. Use scallop circle punch to bite out the top. Wrap in aluminum foil.
5.  Cut 2 hearts out of Whisper White paper with next to largest stitched framelit and adhere one heart to Cherry Cobbler heart, covering the area where the heart for the sentiment was cut out. Adhere kiss to Whisper White heart and adhere this group to card front.
6. Cut the string of hearts out of Cherry Cobbler with the string of heart framelit. Save the small hearts for the inside.
7.    Adhere sentiment to card front to the lower left of large heart.
8. On the other white heart, stamp sentiment in Cherry Cobbler ink and adhere to the inside of your card. Adhere 3 small hearts left over from the front string of hearts die to the Whisper White heart.

I hope you like this card and don't forget to send a special hand-made card to the ones your love.
