All Occasion Cards Classes Coming Up!

Hi, Crafty Happy People!
My new All Occasions Cards Class is coming up week after next, and we will be making all occasions cards using products from the fabulous January-June Mini catalog. Above is one of the cards you will make at class, and there are also 2 more cards which are pictured below. Class cost is $15, or free with a $30 order, and includes 3 cards, envelopes, and printed instructions. All you need to bring are your scissors and adhesives (I have those available for purchase). The schedule is as follows:
Thursday, February 25th at 12:00
Thursday, February 25th at 5:00
Friday, February 26th at 12:00
Sunday, February 28th at 2:00
This first card is made with the gorgeous Welcoming Window Bundle. I added the fence and kitty from the Garden Gateway dies.
This next card uses the beautiful Gilding Leafing to make this stunning frame.

If you've never made a Magic Card, this will be your chance. This card starts out like the one pictured below, but when you pull the gold tab up, you have the card pictured next! Magic!

Hi, Fellow Crafters!
Pictured above is a beautiful sampler, using the Boho Indigo designer paper, that was designed by Linda Ray (with inspiration from Gail Ellis' lovely sampler).

You can make this awesome sampler on Saturday, March 6th, at noon at my home. The cost is $15 and you bring your own frame. Class limit is 8, but we will add another date, on a Friday, if this one fills up. Below are a few more pictures of the sampler.

Get your name on the list before it fills up!!

Gilded Leafing for Kylie's International Blog Highlight Vote For Me, Please!

Hi, Everyone!
I've made this gorgeous Gilded Leafing Thank You card for Kylie's International Blog Highlights. This means I'm asking for you to vote for me so I can participate in her Top 10 Blog Hop! CLICK HERE TO VOTE! Look for entry #48.

Now on to the details for this card. Thanking someone for a gesture you're thankful for will be easy with a card this beautiful!

I used the beautiful Golden Garden Designer Series Acetate cut to 4" x 5 1/4" to layer over my Pretty Peacock card base (11" x 4 1/4").

The Gilded Leafing is the beautiful focal point of this card and to achieve this look, I took an Adhesive Sheet, cut to 4" x 5 1/2", and adhered it to a piece of Thick Basic White the same size. Next, I pulled off the protective covering to expose the adhesive and rubbed the Gilded Leafing firmly across this sheet. To clean off the excess, I rubbed it with a used dryer sheet. To cut my frame, I used the 2nd and 3rd to the largest dies from the Stitched Rectangles dies. I offset the 2 pieces and adhered them to the card front.
My floral focal point is a section of flowers from the Fine Art Floral Designer Series paper adhered to an oval of Pretty Peacock. The beauty of the Fine Art Floral paper is there are numerous flower sections to pick from.
Add a bow and your sentiment (mine came from Punch Party) to complete your card.

I hope you like my card and will take a minute to vote for it.
Remember to Vote Here!
