Inked Botanicals Card for Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Highlights Winners Hop

Hello and welcome to Kylie Bertucci's International Winners Blog Hop! Today I'm joining Kylie Bertucci and a group of very talented demonstrators for a blog hop around the world. I'm so excited to be participating in the Top Ten International Highlights Winners Blog Hop! I earned this honor with my card, Message in a Bottle you can see here. Thank you so much for voting for my card.

The card I'm sharing with you today features the Inked Botanical Designer Series Paper. This card doesn't open like a regular card does. It has a flap on the front that opens up. Let me show you some pictures that will explain what I'm talking about.

As you can see in the picture below, that middle section is a piece of Lost Lagoon cardstock 11" x 2 1/2" folded in half. The card base is also Lost Lagoon 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".

The 2 front side designer series pieces are 1" x 5 1/4". The large front designer series piece is 2" x 5 1/4" and the 2 small strips on each side are 3/4" x 5 1/4".

The Very Vanilla piece on the inside is 5 1/4" x 2 2 1/4". I stamped a flower from the Inked and Tiled stamp set in Lost Lagoon and Crushed Curry. The flower on the sentiment on the front is also from that set and is stamped in Crushed Curry.

As you can see, this is a simple card to make, and I hope you will give it a try.  I've provided links below to all the products I used.

Rays of Light and a Sailboat for the Crafty Collaborations Share it Sunday Blog Hop

Rays-of-Light-Sailboat-Builder-punch-birthday-Stampin-Up

Hello and welcome to my blog! Today I'm hopping with the talented Crafty Collaborations group of demonstrators. Our theme is to share any project we would like. My project is a card made with the Rays of Light stamp set and the Sailboat Builder punch. The Countryside Corner Dies are also used on this card. I actually designed this card for my Father's Day Cards Class, but since many of us don't have fathers that are still with us, I adapted it to a birthday card.

Instead of getting into all the dimensions and instructions, I have provided a link to a free tutorial and my YouTube video on how to make this card.

As you can see in the picture below, I added Pumpkin Pie ink on top of the Lemon Lolly ink behind the boat. My video clearly explains how I used the inks to achieve this look.

The letters were cut with the Alphabet A La Mode dies from Early Espresso cardstock.

If you don't want the DAD on the front, here is an alternative, a handle for the tackle box.
