Garden Birdhouses for Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Highlights Winners Hop

Hello and welcome to Kylie Bertucci's International Winners Blog Hop! Today I'm joining Kylie Bertucci and a group of very talented demonstrators for a blog hop around the world. I'm so excited to be participating in the Top Ten International Highlights Winners Blog Hop! I earned this honor with my card, Seaside Bay Angle-Easel Card. Thank you so much for voting for me.

The card I'm sharing today features the Garden Birdhouses Stamp set and the Sale-A-Bration stamp set Beautifully Happy. I'll post a few pictures, but I have provided a link to a free tutorial download and also a video on how I made this card.

All the images were stamped on a 4" by 5 1/4" piece of Basic White cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The background is the Drybrush stamp in Pool Party ink. The picture gives the impression that the Basic White piece was adhered behind a Basic Black piece, but it's just the opposite. I cut the Basic White piece with a Layering Diorama Die and adhered it to a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Basic Black cardstock. The card base is an 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" piece of Sweet Sorbet cardstock folded in half.

I decided to cover my artwork with a piece of the Vellum Layering Designs specialty paper.

On the inside, I stamped a corner design from the Around the Bend stamp set.

Nested Friends Easel Card for the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my blog! Today I'm hopping with a talented group of demonstrators from around the world in the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop. Our challenge today is to make a card using the sketch below for inspiration.

Below is my card inspired by this sketch.

This is what it looks like folded up to go into the envelope.

The nest and birds were made using the Nested Friends Bundle. It's a great bundle!

The white wreath was cut with the Eden Dies. The flowers were stamped with the Petal Park stamp set and punched with the coordinating punch, Petal Park Builder.

This is what I call the "stopper", or the component that makes the easel stand up. This die is from the Sentimental Park Die set. I love the way the way the white piece fits perfectly inside the flowers!
