Many Layered Blossoms Dies for Kylie's International Highlights Winners Hop

Hello and welcome to Kylie Bertucci's International Winners Blog Hop! Today I'm joining Kylie Bertucci and a group of very talented demonstrators for a blog hop around the world. I'm so excited to be participating in the Top Ten International Highlights Winners Blog Hop! I earned this honor with my card, Oceanfront Easel Card. Thank you so much for voting for me.

The thank you card I'm sharing today showcases the retiring Many Layered Blossoms Dies. This is a great set of dies and creates a beautiful card front.

I started with an 11" x 4 1/4" piece of Thick Basic White for the card base. A 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Vellum cardstock was embossed with the Ornate Flowers Embossing Folder. This was adhered to the card front.

I used the Supple Shimmer Pink specialty paper in the January-June 2022 Mini Catalog for the die on the left in the picture below, and Basic White for the other die. The below picture shows the two large dies that come inn this set. There are also 4 small flowers included in this set of dies.

The pink shimmer paper die cut piece and the Basic White outline were adhered together. I then arranged it on the bottom card front with half of it hanging off. Dimensionals were applied in various places on the back of the die cut piece to hold it on the card front. The bottom half was cut off and adhered to the top of the card front. Below are 2 pictures showing the piece cut in half. Top picture is the bottom half of the card, and the bottom picture is the top part of the card.

The thank you sentiment was stamped on Basic White in Blushing Bride and punched with the Double Oval punch. A scalloped oval was punched from the pink shimmer paper with the same punch, and the two were adhered together to the left center card front.

If you like this card and would like to create it, I have links below to all the supplies, AND, the dies are marked down from $45 to $27!!! If I were you, I would jump on this great deal.

New Horizons Sampler Frame for Share It Sunday Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Share It Sunday Blog Hop. Today I'm sharing a sampler frame I put together after my Team of Shining STARS exchanged 3 1/4" squares made using the beautiful New Horizons Designer Series Paper.

Each square is mounted on a 3 1/4" square of Basic Black cardstock and then a 3" square of the New Horizons Designer Series Paper was adhered to this. They could design and decorate any way they wanted. I am showcasing two I made and two made by team members.

This first one was made by team member Linda Ray. She used the dies from Honeybee Blooms Dies set cut in Basic Black to design her square She added a little color in the background sky. Just lovely!

Team Member Sallie Payne used the Brilliant Wings dies to add a butterfly to her square. I don't know what die was used for the bottom left corner, but it really set this square off. Another lovely square!

This is one of my squares, and I added a palm tree from the Palms Dies and a fence and grass from the Horizon Dies. I also sponged some color in the sky.

This last square is also one I designed. I used the trees from Grove Dies and cut them from Basic Black. I also added some color to the sky.

As you can see, when put together, they made a lovely home decor piece! For your convenience, I have links to the supplies used to make this frame below.

Thank you for visiting my blog! Please take a minute to visit the blogs of all the other talented demonstrators.

Flowering Tulips Double Dutch Fold Card for the Stamping with Friends Easter/Spring Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping with Friends Blog Hop! Our theme today is Easter/Spring. I love Spring because I love seeing all the flowers bursting out in bloom! I am highlighting the Flowering Tulips, again, but this time I decided to go with a blue and white theme. My card fold is a Double-Dutch Fold. There is a complete tutorial on Splitcoststampers under the tutorial section.

My card base is a 4 3/16" x 9" piece of Thick Basic White cardstock scored at 5 1/2". On the top front flap, I adhere a piece 4" x 3 1/4" Heart and Home Designer Series Paper.

The Dutch Fold piece is a 2" x 8 1/2" piece of Thick Basic White cardstock scored at 2 1/8" and 6 3/8". This piece was adhered to the back of the card base and 2 rectangles (2" x 1 7/8") cut from Heart and Home Designer Series Paper were adhered to the front flaps.

The focal Misty Moonlight piece was cut with a die from Hippo and Friends Dies and embossed with Tasteful Textiles embossing folder.
The tulips were created from Basic White cardstock with the Tulips Die. I sponged some of the tulips with Misty Moonlight ink.
As you can see from the picture below, the Dutch doors support the top front flap creating the suggestion of an easel card.
The sentiment is from the Celebrating You stamp set and was cut with a die from Bouquet of Love. I completed the inside with the beautiful 2-step tulip stamps from Flowering Tulips.

I hope you like my card and would like to recreate it. I have supplied links below to the supplies used to make it.

Please take a minute to check out all the fabulous projects from the other talented demonstrators.
