Waves of Inspiration for the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today is the Crafty Collaborations Crafty Challenge Blog Hop, and I'm hopping along with a talented group of demonstrators from all across the globe. Our challenge today was to design a card following the sketch below.
Here is my card, and, as you can see, I chose to turn the sketch sideways.

For my card I am using the Waves of Inspiration which is a new stamp set that will appear in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog coming out May 1st. Stampin' Up! has released it early, but only for the month of March. It also comes as a bundle with gorgeous dies, designer paper, foil papers, and beautiful Bermuda Bay rhinestones, but on this card, I just used the stamp set.

Instead of adding all the measurements here, at the end of my blog will be a link to a free tutorial download.

I heat embossed the beautiful wave in white embossing powder on a piece of Bermuda Bay cardstock.

The palm trees are from the Paradise Palms stamp set. I stamped them in VersaMark and heat embossed them with black embossing powder. The circles were cut with Layering Circles dies.

A small piece of the beautiful designer series paper is peeking out from behind the wave. The sentiment is from the Paradise Palms stamp set and is also heat embossed with white embossing powder.

I hope you like my card. Click on the box below to download a free tutorial.
Thanks so much for checking out my blog. Please take a minute to visit the other demonstrators' blogs and check out their awesome projects.

New Horizons Rock by the Lake Card for Share it Sunday Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Crafty Collaborations Share it Sunday Blog Hop. A very talented group of demonstrators are sharing some great projects with you. Make sure you visit their blogs. Their links are below.

I'm sharing another card made with the New Horizons Designers Series Paper, one of my most favorite papers Stampin' Up! has designed.

To alter the designer series paper, I stamped the trees from Grassy Grove in Evening Evergreen on the left shore of the lake.

I cut a "rock" with a die from Horizon Dies out of Sahara Sand cardstock. I stamped it in Memento Tuxedo Black ink with the woodgrain stamp from On the Horizon. The Evening Evergreen grass is also cut with a die from the Horizon Dies.

The birds were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink with a stamp from On the Horizon.

I used the leftover strips from the designer series paper to decorate the inside.

The card base is Night of Navy 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" folded in half. I cut a Night of Navy frame with the Stitched Rectangle dies and adhered over the designer series paper that was adhered to the card front.

I hope you like my card and will give it a try. I have provided links to all the products below.

Please take a minute to visit the blogs of the other demonstrators and check out their awesome projects.

Calming Camellia for Kylie's International Highlights Winners Hop

Hello and welcome to Kylie Bertucci's International Winners Blog Hop! Today I'm joining Kylie Bertucci and a group of very talented demonstrators for a blog hop around the world. I'm so excited to be participating in the Top Ten International Highlights Winners Blog Hop! I earned this honor with my card, Beauty of Friendship, Thank you so much for voting for me.

This card I'm showcasing is a quick and simple thank you card. You'll be amazed at how quick you can put a card together with our Heart and Home Memories and More Cards and envelopes. I really hadn't paid much attention to this set until this week, and I really love it.

My focal point is the Calming Camellia stamp set that is a free Host Set when you place a $300 order during Sale-A-Bration. I stamped the camellia in Misty Moonlight on a 3 1/2" x 4 1/4" piece of Basic White. The largest die in the Stitched So Sweetly die set was used to cut the camellia out. Tasteful Textiles Embossing Folder was used to add some interest to this piece. A Misty Moonlight bow was added to this piece.

The card base in this card set is Misty Moonlight and White striped. It makes a 4 1/4" x 6 1/4" card, but I decided to cut it down to a 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" card and mounted it to a 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" Thick Basic White piece. The reason I did this was to give the stripes a white border.
Another piece in this card set is this woodgrain piece. It is actually a notecard, but I cut it in half to use on my card front.
The sentiment, from Grassy Grove, was stamped in Misty Moonlight on a Basic White scrap and cut with the smallest Stitched So Sweetly die.

Wouldn't you just love to receive or send this thank you card? If you would like to duplicate this card, the supplies I used are listed below with links to my store.

Please take a minute to check out the projects from the other Top 10 Winners!
