Beauty of Friendship for Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Highlight

Hi, Everyone!
I've made this beautiful Thank You card for Kylie's International Blog Highlights. This means I'm asking you to vote for me so I can participate in her Top 10 Blog Hop! CLICK HERE TO VOTE! Look for entry #1. Just click on the heart in the upper right-hand corner. It will turn red when you have voted.

Now some details about this slimline card. Thanking someone for a kind act you're thankful for will be easy with a card like this. You will be able to download a complete tutorial after all the pictures of the card.

This slimline card (Daffodil Delight 8" x 9" folded in half) was made with the awesome Beauty of Friendship stamp set. I started by adhering a 3/4" circle to the top right section of a 8 1/2" x 3 1/2" Basic White piece of card stock. Next, Daffodil Delight ink was blended across the top half and Soft Succulent across the bottom half.

Before sponging in the mountains with Soft Suede ink using a torn Post-It-Note, I stamped the tree trunks in Early Espresso so I could arrange the mountains around the trees.

All the trees are stamped with the 2-step stamping images from Beauty of Friendship. The top layer is Evening Evergreen, and the bottom layer is Soft Succulent. I used the bottom layer of the smaller tree (there are 2 different sizes of the trees in the set) and Soft Succulent to add the trees at the bottom edge of the card front.

The birds from Sailing Home were added with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. This piece was adhered to a 3 3 /4" x 8 3/4" piece of Evening Evergreen card stock.

Oceanfront for the Crafty Collaboration Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Crafty Collaboration Blog Hop. Today I'm hopping along with a talented group of demonstrators from around the world. Our challenge was to create a project using the colors below. I just love all these colors, so this was an easy challenge for me!
I have fallen in love with the Oceanfront stamp set, so I decided to use this set to create my project. Let's take a closer look at my card.

I started with a 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" piece of Coastal Cabana card stock. That is actually my card base. On a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Basic White, I started at the bottom and the ocean-looking stamp with Coastal Cabana ink. The sky was stamped with Highland Heather ink and the clouds with Flirty Flamingo. Living in Florida close to the beach, we see many sunsets that resemble this.

Birds (from On the Horizon stamp set), the sentiment, and sand were stamped with Basic Gray. The grass was stamped in Old Olive. I cut 3/4" off each side to adhere to the Coastal Cabana card base.

I cut the fence from Soft Suede cardstock with the fence die from Horizon Dies. There is a wood-grain stamp in the On the Horizon stamp set that I stamped on the fence. The right fence was adhered to the front section that lifts up, and the left section to the inside section.

This card has a middle section that lifts up for an inside area. That section is Coastal Cabana cardstock 11" x 2 3/4".

I stamped the same clouds, grass, and water on the inside Basic White 5 1/4" x 2 1/2" cardstock piece in the same colors as the front. The sentiment was stamped in Highland Heather. I decided to make this a get-well card because it seems I have needed several of those lately.

I hope you like my card well enough to try to make one yourself. I have listed all the supplies below with a link to my store, if you should need some of the supplies.

Please take a minutes to hop along to the other awesome demonstrators' blogs to check out their projects.

Share it Sunday Blog Hop

Welcome and today is Share It Sunday Blog Hop which means I get to share a project with you, along with a group of talented global demonstrators. My project today is a Valentine's Day Card. Let's take a look at my card.

The Give It a Whirl Dies makes a perfect die set for a Valentine's Day Card. I used the Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper for the front.

This die set has a wheel that you turn to show 3 different hearts in the window.

Below are the 3 different hearts I used.

I added a row of hearts across the middle to hide the brad you have to use to connect the wheel with the card front.

A sentiment was added across the bottom.

The inside was completed with a Valentine's Day sentiment.
