Gliding Garden Swing Birthday Card

Gliding-Garden-Swing-Stampi-Up

Hello and welcome to my blog!  Today I'm sharing a cute card I made with the Gliding Garden Swing Bundle. At the end of this post is a link for you to download a free tutorial with all the instructions and measurements and, also, a video showing the construction of this card. Check it out. Links to all the supplies I used are also at the bottom. Let's look at a few details of this card.

Here is the front of the card. The card base is a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of Balmy Blue cardstock. I used a brush to randomly smear White Craft Ink to mimic some clouds in the sky.

All the leaves in the tree were cut with the dies from Gliding Garden Swing out of paper from the Nature Walk Designer Series Paper. I loved this sheet because it looked so much like leaves.

The tree, which is also a die from Gliding Garden Swing, was cut out of a sheet from the Country Woods Designer Series Paper. The piece I picked I felt was too light of a wood grain, so I brushed Early Espresso ink on the tree to darken it. The grass you see across the bottom was cut out of Garden Green cardstock with dies from Scenic Adventure.

The swing was also cut from a sheet of Country Woods Designer Series Paper. The pillows were cut from Brushed with Beauty Designer Series Paper. Both dies are from Gliding Garden Swing dies.

The inside Basic White piece was cut with the largest die from Textured Notes Dies. The Simple Birthday stamp was stamped in Garden Green ink.
