Hi, Crafty-Happy People!
Today I'm hopping with the Crafty Collaborations team, which is a global group of fellow Stampin' Up demonstrators. Blogs are a great way to check out a variety of awesome card ideas. So let's get hopping along.
Our theme today is vacation and it seems all my vacations are trips to the beach. Walking on the beach is a daily activity when I'm at the beach, and you just can't walk on the beach without looking down and picking up seashells.
My card base is an 11" x 4 1/4" piece of Crumb Cake cardstock scored at 5 1/2". The next layer is a 4" x 5 1/4" Just Jade piece embossed with Pinewood Planks embossing folder. Yes, I know, Pinewood Planks embossing folder has retired, but it has just been with replaced with Timber, which is almost exactly like it. Therefore, I am recommending you use Timber instead, unless you already own Pinewood Planks. I applied Soft Suede to the embossing folder before I ran it through the Cut and Emboss machine to give this rustic painted wood effect.
I used the Friends are Like Seashells Bundle for the shells.
