Hello and welcome to my blog! Today I'm hopping with a talented group of crafters from around the world, the Stamping INKspirations Group. Our goal is to give you inspiration from our projects. Our challenge was to design a project using the colors below.
This is the card I'm sharing with you today.
This card was designed using this sheet of paper from the New Horizons Designer Series Paper pack. This sheet is so pretty by itself, but I had to add some elements to it.
As you can see from this view, I designed it as an easel card to really show off its beauty. The base is an 11" x 4 1/4" piece of Garden Green cardstock scored at 5 1/2" and 2 3/4". I adhered the 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" designer series paper to a 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" piece of Garden Green to give it stability.
I added some trees on the horizon with a stamp from On the Horizon and Evening Evergreen ink.The birds are also from the same stamp set and stamped them in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
White fences, cut with dies from Horizon Dies, were added at the bottom. Grass from the same die set, cut from Garden Green, were adhered in front of the fences. I love the new Pebbles embellishments now available from Stampin' Up!.
For the "stopper" for the easel card, I used the dies from Hippo and Friends and cut one from Calypso Coral. I stamped on the piece of dsp I cut off the side and then cut it with the Hippo and Friends die. I adhered these with dimensionals to give it the height needed to hold up the card front.
If you don't own any of the New Horizons Designer Series Paper, you're missing out! If you find yourself wanting to CASE this card, I'm linking all the supplies below to my store.
