Fa La La Holiday Project-Special Christmas Gift Bags

Santa_Gift_Bag_Stampin_Up

Hello and welcome to Fa La La Friday Holiday Projects! This is week 9 of 10 weeks. Each week I will post a holiday project. This week's projects are 3 gift bags made with Stampin' Up! products using white or red gift bags. These are the bags my customers will be making at my in-person classes December 15th and 18th.

Let's start with the one pictured above.

This cute Santa bag was made with a 2" x 6" piece of Snowy White Velvet Specialty Paper cut with a die from the Basic Border Dies and adhered to a red bag. The belt is a 6 1/4" x 1 1/2" piece of Basic Black. The buckle is a 2 1/2" x 2" piece of gold foil with a 1" x 1 1/2" piece of Basic Black in the center. The circles were punched from Basic Black with a 3/4" circle punch. This one is my favorite.

This next bag also starts with a red bag. The top piece is a 6" x 2 1/2" piece of Snowy White Velvet embossed with the Wintry embossing folder. Below that is a 6" x 6" piece of Snowflake Specialty Vellum paper. This piece is the one with white flocking on the snowflakes. I cut the snowflake out of the Snowy White Velvet with a die from Twinkling Lights dies. White Glittered Organdy ribbon, Iridescent Trim Ribbon, and Metallic Mesh ribbon were tied around one of the handles.

This last bag was constructed on a white bag. The first layer is a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of Evening Evergreen cardstock embossed with the Wintry Embossing Folder.

The corners of both of these pieces were punched with the Very Best Trio Punch.

The next layer is a 4" x 6" piece of Festive Foils paper embossed with the Merriest Frames embossing folder. Gold ink was sponged over the raised areas. The tree was cut with a die from Twinkling Lights Dies out of Distressed Gold Specialty Paper and adhered to the middle with dimensionals.

I hope you were inspired by my project! Below I have included links to the supplies I used to make these projects.
