Hello and welcome to Kylie Bertucci's International Winners Blog Hop! Today I'm joining Kylie Bertucci and a group of very talented demonstrators for a blog hop around the world. I'm so excited to be participating in the Top Ten International Highlights Winners Blog Hop! I earned this honor with my card, Sending Love Mailbox Card. I am honored that you voted for my card. Thank you so much.
This card that I'm sharing with you today is a simple but elegant thank you card made with the Everyday Details Stamp set and dies. Let's take a look at the card.
I started with a base of Thick Basic White 11" x 4 1/4". A piece of Basic White was cut with a rectangle die from the Everyday Details dies and adhered to a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Real Red cardstock. This piece was then embossed with the Crosshatch embossing folder and adhered it to the card base.
A piece of Basic White was cut with one of the circle dies from Everyday Detail Dies. Another circle was cut with the same die out of the Most Adored Designer Series Paper. This circle was adhered on the left side of the Basic White rectangle.
The teacup for the Everyday Details stamp set was stamped in Basic Gray on the Basic White circle. I then colored the teacup with the following blends: Light Smoky Slate (the tea and the shadow), Light and Dark Flirty Flamingo (the teacup), Light Real Red (the flower), Light Shaded Spruce (leaves), and Dark Daffodil Delight (flower center). Wink of Stella was applied to the teacup and flower.
A 1/2" strip of Basic White was cut with the X die from Everyday Details dies and adhered to the bottom right. I tied a bow out of white Baker's Twine and adhered it with a mini glue dot to the left of the white circle.
Links to all the supplies I used are listed below.
