Valentine's Card for the TGIFC196 Challenge

Who says Valentine's Day cards have to be red? Not me! I decided to go with a soft pink and include the beautiful vellum designer series paper from Stampin' Up! from the Floral Romance collection. Over at TGIF Challenge, the challenge is to use designer series paper on your card, #tgifc196.
Powder Pink and Whisper White are the 2 colors I used on this soft Valentine's Day Card. The vellum designer series paper layered over a piece of Whisper White is the star of this card.  I'm also in love with the Be Mine Stitched Framelits and the Wonderful Floral Framelits, which cut the beautiful leaf design down the right side of the card.

To create this card:
Cardstock:  Powder Pink 5 ½” x 8 ½”
                    Floral Romance DSP 2 ½” x 5 ½”
                   White 5 ½” x 4 1/8” (front piece)
                   Whisper White 5” x 3 ¾” (inside piece)
Whisper White 2 ½” strips to cut hearts

1.     Fold card base in half.
2.     Cut larger white piece with leaf edgelit die. Adhere to card front with leaves even with the right edge.
3.     Adhere vellum paper to white piece.
4.     Stamp sentiment on white strip and cut with matching heart dies. Cut lace heart die from white strip. Adhere heart to card front.

  1. Beautiful card! I love how you combined a couple framelit sets to come up with something totally unique. That Petal Pink vellum is my personal fav too!!! Thanks for joining TGIFC this week.
