Valentine's Day Envelope Fold Front Treat Holder Card

Hello and welcome to my blog! It's time to start making your Valentine's Day cards!! Today I'm sharing this awesome envelope fold front treat holder. At the end of this post is a link for you to download a free tutorial with all the instructions and measurements and, also, a video showing the construction of this card. Since this card has several steps that need to be done correctly, I'll just explain them in the video. Check it out. Links to all the supplies I used are also at the bottom.

I'm going to give you some basic instructions, but for more detailed instructions, either download the free tutorial or watch my video. I started with a 8 1/2" x 11" piece of Poppy Parade cardstock. Mark it as I have indicated below and cut those 2 corners off. Save those corner pieces. In between sections 1 and 3, cut a small sliver out along the score line to make it easier to fold together.

Adhere a 3" x 4" piece of designer series paper to the upper right-hand corner of section 1.

 Adhere a 1 1/2" x 6" piece of designer series paper to the front side of section 1. This is the side you see when you fold it over. You will have to trim off the overlapping edges. I did not show that in the picture. Fold section 1 over onto section 2 and adhere down with Tear and Tape. This is your first pocket.

From this point I'm just going to show you the order of folding. Section 1 folds over onto section 2 and adhere down just the outside edge.

The bottom 2 sections then fold up on the top sections. Adhere section 3 down onto the top section with Tear and Tape on the 2 outside edges. You can then adhere a piece of designer series paper to the front.

Lastly, section 4, or the section on the left, folds under and forms the inside of the card. And you're done!

I stamped our new Valentine's Day stamp in Poppy Parade ink on the inside after cutting the Basic White piece with the largest die from Textured Notes dies. That completes our card. Now you can stuff it with your treats.
