Blessed Beginnings Church Easel Card

Blessed-Beginnings-Easter-Easel-Baptism-Stampin-Up

Hello and welcome to my blog!  Today I'm sharing a beautiful card I made with the Blessed Beginnings Bundle. This card could be for Easter, a baptism, wedding, or even a birthday. At the end of this post is a link for you to download a free tutorial with all the instructions and measurements and, also, a video showing the construction of this card. Check it out. Links to all the supplies I used are also at the bottom. Let's look at a few details of this card.

Here is the front of the card. The Everyday Arches dies were used for the beautiful arches. Stone and Vine Embossing Folder added the texture to the Thick Basic White arch. That is Fresh Freesia cardstock peeking out between the arches.

This view shows the easel design of the card. The dimensions and score lines for an easel card start with an 11" x 4 1/4" card base scored at 5 1/2" and 2 3/4". The front Thick Basic White piece and Fresh Freesia piece are 5 1/2" x 4 1/4".

Fresh Freesia and Old Olive ink were blended in the middle of the arch. The church was stamped in Secret Sea ink on Wood Texture Designer Series paper and cut with the coordinating die. The Bronze and Light Lemon Lolly Blends were used to color the church. The Color Lifter was used to lift some of the color to give dimension. The door, cross, and roof edge were cut out of Earthen Tone Metallic Specialty paper. The tree and bushes were stamped in Mossy Meadow ink on Old Olive cardstock and cut with the dies.

The "stopper" was cut from Fresh Freesia (4 1/4" x 2") and Lovely and Beautiful Designer Series Paper (4" x 1 3/4") and adhered with dimensionals.
