Pleasant Patterns Designer Series Paper Birthday Card

Pleasant-Patterns-DSP-Birthday-Stampin-Up

Hello and welcome to my blog!  Today I'm sharing a birthday card I made with the beautiful Pleasant Patterns Specialty Designer Series Paper. This card could be for Easter or a birthday. At the end of this post is a link for you to download a free tutorial with all the instructions and measurements and, also, a video showing the construction of this card. Check it out. Links to all the supplies I used are also at the bottom. Let's look at a few details of this card.

Here is the front of the card. Check out that beautiful Pleasant Patterns Specialty Designer Series Paper.

This view shows that the front is cut 1 1/4" shorter than a full front card. The measurements of the Pretty in Pink card base are 4 1/4" x 9 3/4" scored at 5 1/2".

The scallops are cut with dies from Scallop Wishes, one out of vellum and the other one out of the Pretty in Pink Pastel Shimmer paper. The leaf is also out of vellum and cut with a die from Delicate Whispers. I colored it with a Pretty in Pink Blend. The embellishments are Strawberry Slush and Pretty in Pink Gems. Here you can see the shine on the flowers in the paper.

A 4" x 1 3/4" piece of Pretty in Pink Pastel Shimmer Paper was emboss with the All in a Row Embossing Folder.

The background pink paper is from the Mixed Up Patterns Designer Series Paper. The shimmer piece and a 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" piece of Basic White were adhered on top of the designer series paper. The sentiment from Paper Tags was stamped in Pretty in Pink.
