Heat Foiling Echoes of Detail Crosshatch Design in Silver Foil for a Birthday Card

Hello and welcome to my blog! Today I'm demonstrating how to make a card with the Stampin' Hot Foil System. This card uses the Echoes of Detail crosshatch design die and silver foil. At the end of this post is a link for you to download a free tutorial with all the instructions and measurements and, also, a video showing the construction of this card. Because of the steps involved in using the hot foil system, it's just easier to show you then to try to tell you how to do it. Links to all the supplies I used are also at the bottom. Let's look at a few details of this card. Here is the card folded up ready to go into an envelope.

I stamped the cracked design from the Echoes of Detail in VersaMark and heat embossed with silver embossing powder. Next, this piece was embossed with the Plaster Painting Embossing Folder.

Here's a closeup of the heat foil design. Wanted to Say Dies were used to cut the celebrate. The circle die is from Spotlight on Nature.

The inside was stamped with the Simple Birthday stamp and heat embossed with silver embossing powder.
